Privacy Policy

This website is provided by Propeller Films, LLC.
To contact us if you have any question about this Privacy Policy or our Terms of Service you can email us at info@propellerfilms.com.

This Privacy Policy describes how Propeller Films, LLC and its affiliates (collectively, “Propeller”), collects, uses and shares personally identifiable information (“PII”), such as your name and email address that are obtained from individuals located in the U.S., in connection with the Propeller Web Sites and other parts of the Propeller Service. Protecting and respecting your PII is very important to Propeller.

This Privacy Policy applies to adults and all children who have reached their 13th birthday. Propeller does not knowingly permit children under the age of 13 to use the Propeller Services and does not knowingly collect PII from anyone under the age of 13.

The effective date of this policy is July 1, 2009, and it was most recently revised on that date. Prior versions of this Privacy Policy are archived and available if requested. Except as explicitly stated below, Propeller will not affirmatively notify users of changes in our Privacy Policy; but we will abide by the Privacy Policy in effect at the time Propeller collects PII from a visitor, respecting uses of that PII. You can inquire further about this Privacy Policy by contacting info@propellerfilms.com.

By using the Propeller Web Sites or any other parts of the Propeller Service, you agree to and accept the terms of this Privacy Policy.

Collection of PII by Propeller

When you register with the Propeller Service, you are asked for basic information, such as your email address and your name or an acceptable username other than your name, not already taken by someone else, which you may prefer that Propeller use to identify you as the source of content you upload.

When you use the Propeller Services, cookies and web beacons may be set up in your computer to make your experience easier, more personalized and more enjoyable — for example, to remember your password, or what type of bandwidth you prefer. Cookies and web beacons also may help Propeller monitor site usage and traffic so that Propeller can better configure the site for visitors’ needs. Although we may record information about your usage and associate that information with you, PII will not be collected by or stored on a cookie or web beacon.

It goes without saying that should you voluntarily disclose any PII or other information or content for public posting in chat areas or otherwise within the Propeller Service, it will become publicly available. Also, any content that you submit may be distributed through the Inernet and other media, and seen by the general public.

PII Received from Third Party Sources

Propeller may also obtain PII from third parties, who might provide Propeller with a mailing list for a newsletter or solicitation. Propeller will always ask for confirmation that such PII has been furnished to Propeller in accordance with the privacy policy of the third party who provides the information. Propeller is not responsible, however, for compliance with the privacy practices of third parties.

Use by Propeller of PII

Propeller may use PII to address you personally throughout your visit at the Propeller Service; to otherwise provide personal services to you; and to authenticate your presence at the Propeller Service. Propeller may use PII for internal purposes to better understand the use of the Propeller Service and how to make your use easier and more enjoyable. As long as you OPT IN, and then unless and until you OPT OUT, Propeller will also use your name and/or email address, and survey responses you have provided: for customer service purposes, to send you news about the Propeller Service and to give you the opportunity to participate in offers made by Propeller and Propeller’s business partners. Propeller will not, however, share any of your PII with third persons.

Use by Third Parties of PII

When you give Propeller information for a specific purpose, Propeller will use that information solely for that purpose unless Propeller tells you otherwise and gives you an opportunity to OPT OUT. The exceptions to this general rule is that Propeller may share your PII with third parties who provide support for the internal operations of our website and who will not disclose or use that information for any other purpose. Propeller may also disclose your PII as required or permitted by law, to protect the interests or safety of Propeller or a third party, or in an emergency situation.

Propeller may share with third parties aggregated non-personal information, which might include, for example, how many visitors watched a video or clicked on a specific link. Such information does not identify you personally, however, and is not PII.

Linked Websites

Propeller may provide, or third parties may provide, links to other web sites or resources. Propeller has no control over such sites and resources, is not responsible for their availability, and does not endorse and shall not be liable to You or any third party, for any advertising, goods or services, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources. Also, Propeller shall not be liable to You or any third party, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with use of or reliance on any such goods or services available on or through any such site or resource. Although Propeller chooses our partners carefully, Propeller is not responsible for the privacy practices of websites operated by third parties that are linked to our website or of third parties that are promoted on our website. Once you’ve left Propeller via such a link, you should check the applicable privacy policy of the third party to determine how they will handle any PII they collect from you.

Internal Security

Propeller uses reasonable administrative, technical, personnel and physical measures to safeguard PII in its possession against loss, theft and unauthorized use, disclosure or modification.

Your Access to your PII at Propeller

If you would like to know the types of information that Propeller collects from visitors to the Propeller Service, please contact us. If you would like to know whether Propeller has collected PII about you, please send Propeller the activities that you participated in on the website and, after reviewing the relevant databases, Propeller will confirm whether it has collected such information about you. You may review PII about you in the Propeller records at any time provided you first give Propeller proof of your identity, such as by accurately stating a password. Propeller will change any inaccuracies in the PII that pertains to you in response to a reasonable request, and/or end any direct communications with you, or even delete your PII altogether, except to the extent Propeller is required to do otherwise under law.
